Legal Term Addendum

Shurv Media Productions L.L.C. | Racers’ Pit Report

This Legal Terms Addendum applies to all content submitted to, produced by, or published through Shurv Media Productions L.L.C. (SMP), including Racers’ Pit Report (RPR).

By submitting content, participating in media production, or contributing to SMP platforms, you agree to the following terms.

1. Content Ownership

All contributors retain original copyright ownership of their submitted work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Submission of content does not transfer ownership to Shurv Media Productions.

2. License Grant to SMP

By submitting content (including images, video, and written material), you grant Shurv Media Productions a:

• Non-exclusive
• Worldwide
• Royalty-free
• Perpetual (unless revoked in writing for future use)

license to:

• Publish and distribute content
• Edit and adapt content for formatting or production
• Use content for marketing and promotional purposes

3. Commercial Licensing

Any use of submitted content by:

• Sponsors
• Brands
• Advertisers
• Third-party commercial entities

requires a separate commercial license agreement.

Shurv Media Productions reserves the right to:

• Facilitate commercial licensing
• Enforce licensing terms on behalf of contributors when applicable

4. Contributor Responsibilities

By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You own the content or have full legal rights to submit it
• All identifiable individuals have granted appropriate permissions (when required)
• The content does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights

5. Model, Property, and Location Releases

Contributors are responsible for obtaining:

• Model releases (when applicable)
• Property releases (when applicable)
• Permission to photograph or film at event locations

Shurv Media Productions is not responsible for missing or invalid releases provided by contributors.

6. Editorial Control

Shurv Media Productions retains full editorial control over all content, including:

• Selection for publication
• Edits for clarity, tone, or format
• Layout and presentation decisions

Submission does not guarantee publication.

7. Content Modifications

SMP may:

• Crop or resize images
• Adjust color or exposure for print/video consistency
• Edit written content for clarity and formatting

Content will not be altered in a way that intentionally misrepresents the subject.

8. Credit & Attribution

SMP will make reasonable efforts to:

• Credit photographers and contributors
• Maintain attribution in published content

However, SMP is not liable for:

• Accidental omission of credit
• Third-party misuse of credited content

9. Prohibited Content

The following content will not be accepted or may be removed:

• Copyright-infringing material
• Defamatory or false statements
• Offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Unsafe or reckless activity that violates event or track rules

10. Liability Limitation

Shurv Media Productions is not liable for:

• Loss or damage of submitted materials
• Errors or omissions in published content
• Unauthorized third-party use of published materials

11. Indemnification

Contributors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shurv Media Productions from any claims arising from:

• Copyright infringement
• Unauthorized use of content
• Failure to obtain proper releases or permissions

12. Revocation of Use

Contributors may request removal of content from future use by submitting a written request.

This does not apply to:

• Already published materials
• Printed publications
• Archived or distributed content

13. Right to Refuse or Remove Content

Shurv Media Productions reserves the right to:

• Refuse submissions
• Remove content from platforms
• Terminate contributor participation

at its sole discretion.

14. Updates to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time.

Continued participation or submission constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Maryland.
